The U.S has refused entry to UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, an outspoken voice against the genocide in Gaza.
On the other hand, the U.S has “legitimized” Abu Mohammad Jolani, founder of al Qaeda (al Nusra Front) in Syria, who has committed countless atrocities against civilians, who was and is protected by the West despite his former terrorist designation, and who is currently the unelected President of a balkanized, sectarian Syria.
Jolani, now named al-Sharaa and re-branded by Western intelligence agencies, is welcomed by the Western political classes even as Albanese is smeared and deplatformed.
The absurdity of this reality is emblematic of the criminality of Western political classes and the failure of global institutions to even pretend to represent justice.
This is the Orwellian world in which we live, where the War on Terror is a War for Terror and instruments of peace and justice are neutralized and in fact complicit in Western crimes against humanity.
