Think of the irony. Prime Minister Mark Carney supports initiatives to curb anti-semitism in Canada even as his government supports Nazism in Ukraine.
This, at a time when the Western-installed nazi Zelensky junta has just passed a law that memorializes and sacralizes the OUN-B, a military organization that was allied to nazi German during World War Two and committed barbarous and heinous acts of genocide including the Lyov Pogrom. Lucas Leiroz explains that, “ Among the major crimes committed by the Ukrainian nationalist militia was the infamous Lvov pogrom,(author’s note: see also Volhynia genocide) between 1941 and 1943, when militants murdered over 100,000 Polish civilians.” (1)
OUN-B as it exists today sacralizes Bandera and has proven itself to be a genocidal ethnic nationalist polity in current day Ukraine where it has been revitalized and empowered. “The former Special Operations Center North” explains Leiroz, “will now be called “Heroes of the UPA.” (2)
The irony does not end with Ukraine. Canada is still complicit in the on-going Western-supported Zionist genocide of semitic Palestinians through its refusal to block all ties, diplomatic but especially economic and military, with Apartheid Israel. (3)
The irony of Carney’s condemnation of anti-semitism extends to the war on Iran, a nation that has always supported the rights of Palestinians. Despite Western and media proclamations that straight of Hormuz should be open to all, including the aggressors against Iran, the on-going imperialist goal appears to be to destabilize not only Iran but also Russia and China, in part by limiting oil resources reaching these nations. The globalized Western piracy against oil cargo ships falsely designated as a “ghost fleet” confirm this thesis. (4) Russia, China, and Iran are not a threat to Canada, but they have been falsely designated as such.
Meanwhile, a Brookings policy report entitled “Which Path To Persia” (5)articulates what is happening, which is that Empire is using the Zionist entity to attack Iran and to destroy and subordinate West Asia with a view, at least in part, to deflect from its own criminality:
the United states would encourage—and perhaps even assist—the Israelis in conducting the strikes (on Iran) themselves, in the expectation that both international criticism and Iranian retaliation would be deflected away from the United states and onto Israel.
Clearly, deflecting blame from its own criminality onto Israel augments rather than diminishes anti-semitism.
Clearly, Canadian tax dollars currently being used to support Nazism and anti-semitism should be redirected away from NATO and the Military Industrial Complex and towards civilian infrastructures, including health care.
All of this would go a long way towards fighting hatred, prejudice, and anti-semitism.
