What is happening right now in #Latakia is not “clashes,” not “tensions,” and not “isolated incidents.”
It is a #pogrom.
Children are being stopped in the streets—children holding bread—interrogated about their identity, beaten, forced to recite religious declarations at gunpoint, and assaulted for who they are.
This is happening in broad daylight, in front of the entire world.
And yet the so-called international community, regional powers, and authorities pretend not to see, not to hear, not to speak.
Silence in the face of this is complicity.
Speak out against oppression, now!
