The genocide that Western-supported Zionists are committing in Gaza is well-planned and multi-faceted. It includes direct methods and indirect methods.
It includes IDF forces shooting children in the head and chest using quadcopters. Emergency medicine physician Dr. Mimi Syed personally witnessed 18 cases of children shot in the head, neck, chest and abdomen in August alone. Her volunteer emergency doctor colleagues report similar abominations.
It includes dropping bombs on civilians in tents and everywhere else.
It includes luring malnourished people to GH7 aid sites and then gunning them down. Even Israeli media has admitted that IDF soldiers are ordered to shoot unarmed Gazans waiting for humanitarian aid. See this:
It includes shooting fishers trying to harvest the sea and farmers trying to harvest the land. These atrocities pre-date October 7, explains interviewer Eva Bartlett, as do other (indirect) methods of genocide such as poor sanitation, insufficient clean water, malnourishment etc.
Zionists killed people who were trying to fix the water filtration system, explains Syed. Dirty water means e-coli rates are high, “every child has diarrhea”, which creates “manufactured dehydration” and children are suffering from kidney failure.
Indirect geocidal strategies include lack of sanitation which breeds disease and kills. Sewage is everywhere, explains Dr. Syed, and proper sanitation is non-existent. There is no supply of clean water in Gaza, by design, and the sewage systems have been destroyed, by design.
Soap to clean Operating Room floors is non-existent, sufficient quantities of clean surgical gloves are not available. Nothing is sterile and so disease festers and kills.
Indirect genocidal methods include limiting caloric intakes of Gazans (about 400 calories per day for an adult, says Syed,) to levels which create malnutrition and starvation. Nazis deployed the same tactics to eliminate death camp inmates.
Indirect methods include the IDF prohibiting doctors from bringing in medical supplies, which means crucial drugs like antibiotics are not available. Syed indicates that “ antibiotics were unheard of at that time.”
Crucial medical instruments such as laryngoscopes are denied while existing instruments are over-used and not sterile. Seyed described mould inside of tubes of ventilation equipment.
Dr. Seyed and her colleagues are only permitted to bring “personal use” medical supplies into Gaza. The laryngoscope which Dr. Syed used to intubate four year old Mira whom the Zionists had shot in the head, was smuggled into the Nassar hospital.
Sequelae kills. An injured patient, as an example, might have surgery and then die of Sepsis. People can not adequately recover from surgeries when their bodies are malnourished and their protein intake is insufficient.
Mortality rates are under-counted explains Dr. Syed since people bury their dead outside of their homes, “It is unsafe to bring (the dead) anywhere,” she explains, and many are still beneath the rubble. Hospital figures of patients going from hospital to morgue represent only a fraction of the real mortality rate.
Foreign journalists are not allowed into Gaza, and IDF forces continue to target and murder Gazan journalists, so all of this is under-reported.
In a closing message to Americans, Dr. Seyd asks “Do you want to pay taxes to have a four year old shot in the head, to have an 8 year old’s skull ripped off, her brain exposed? Is that what you want your tax dollars to go to?”
“All of us have a duty to say something … to stop this” she says.
